RESIDENTIAL IRRIGATION SYSTEMS
Corbett has installed over 500 residential irrigation systems
and provides contract maintenance services to over 350 residential customers.
The founder and president of Corbett Incorporated, Brian Perwak, prides himself
on delivering quality products and services to the residential market.
Most of Corbett's new customers come from referrals and "word of mouth", a
testimony to Corbett's integrity and high level of customer satisfaction.
Corbett has installed irrigation for lawns, flower beds,
trees, and a variety of complex landscape scenarios. A typical process for
design and installation of a residential system would be:
-
Assessment and requirements meeting:
a discussion between the client and Brian to insure that Corbett understands
the specifics of the home owner's wishes. A site assessment is also
performed by Brian to identify any areas needing special treatment and/or
care. Underground utilities (electrical, plumbing, etc) will also be
identified. Details regarding the site will be documented and/or
photographed for the next step, design. Local water conservation
regulations will also be discussed and addressed.
-
Design and proposal: Brian will then
design a system that addresses the home owner's requirements and any site
specific issues. A clear proposal with pricing and payment terms will
be developed and delivered to the home owner for review and approval.
-
Installation: A Corbett field crew will be
responsible for the actual installation. Typically this involves pipe
and wire pulling (often done with a vibratory plow, i.e. little/no
excavation), sprinkler head location/connection, and control computer
installation/connection. Additional installation items may include
wire or wireless rain sensors and multiple zone controllers.
Installations are often completed in 1 or 2 days.
-
Home owner handoff: After completion and
testing of the installation, Corbett will provide appropriate
documentation/manuals and instruct the homeowner on the features and
operation of the system. Maintenance and other service options may
also be discussed.
